F.A.Q

We would love to meet you! Here we will answer some frequently asked questions about our church and information about all of our services.
Worship Service

What is your worship service on Sunday like?

In choosing which worship service to attend at Crittenden Baptist Church you'll want to know something about the character of each service:

  • Sunday School at 9:45 AM. We have classes for all ages and groups. If you are visiting, please see a greeter or any other member and they will direct you to the appropriate class.

  • Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM. Our main worship service features a blend of contemporary praise and classic-beloved hymns.

  • The preaching is Biblical, dynamic, and conservative with messages that have direct applications to daily life.

I can’t make it on Sundays. Is there another time for me?

Absolutely!  Check out Wednesday Nights at Crittenden Baptist Church:

  • Youth Worship:  6:00 PM

  • Contact us for weekly Bible studies

Do you have assigned seating?

No. You can sit wherever you like in the Worship Center.

General Questions

What can I expect on my first visit?

You will experience a worship service with dynamic preaching, Scripture reading and singing. You will find an exciting, safe, and fun learning environment for your children where they will love coming to church. You will hear relevant teaching with practical application about real life issues that you can incorporate into your life on a weekly basis.

How early should I arrive?

We suggest that visitors arrive between 15 to 20 minutes before the service begins so you can find a place to park and make your way to the building. Parents of small children may want to arrive even earlier to get their children settled in the nursery.

I haven't been to church in a long time. Is it okay for me to come?

Yes!  Our worship services are easy to follow! We welcome any and all who wish to attend, no matter their church experiences. You will likely be greeted by a smiling face and asked how they can help you in order to maximize your Worship experience with us!

Is there a dress code? What should I wear?

We do not have a dress code, and we certainly wouldn’t want you to worry about this! Wear what you feel is comfortable and appropriate. Some people wear jeans and t-shirt, while others come in “business casual” attire. Some people prefer to dress up, while others prefer to dress down. We are more concerned about your heart and your needs than we are about your clothing.

Are people with special needs welcome?

Yes. All ages of those with special needs are welcome. The building is handicapped accessible. For those with hearing impairments we offer amplified ear sets to get the audio of the service. If you or your child has a fairly unique special need, you may want to call (859-428-3122) the church so that we can help accommodate your needs.

Where should I park?

Reserved Guest Parking is located at the front of the worship center building. Once you have visited Crittenden Baptist Church, you may find that another parking lot is better for you depending on which Sunday School class you and your family members attend.

Where is handicap parking available?

Handicap parking is available at the front entrance, and at the rear entrance. A covered drop-off area is located north-east side of the building.

Is Child Care/Children's Church available?

Yes! Child care and children's church are available!
